Not sure which Mac? Apple menu > About This Mac: “Chip: Apple M…” means Apple Silicon, “Processor: Intel” means Intel.

First time opening? Your Mac will warn you because Jadcaster isn’t from the App Store. That’s normal. Do this once (or follow the picture guide: How to Open Jadcaster (PDF)):
  1. Double-click the zip you downloaded, then drag Jadcaster into your Applications folder.
  2. Double-click Jadcaster. A warning pops up: click Done (or OK). Never Move to Trash.
  3. Apple menu > System Settings > Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll down to “Jadcaster was blocked” and click Open Anyway.
  5. Type your Mac password if asked, then click Open. Done. From now on just double-click Jadcaster.
